What kind of thrill are you looking for?

Hot rod driving

You steer your own road-legal vehicle through the city, following a guide. The experience combines open-air driving, the feel of the road and sightseeing.

Compared with karting

Choose karting if you want laps on a dedicated track. HotRodFun follows public roads and traffic rules; it is a guided city experience rather than a timed competition.

The sensation, explained

Wenckstern’s 170 cc engine develops 10 kW, or 13.6 metric horsepower, commonly rounded to 14 HP. The low seat and open cockpit make the surroundings feel close.

A shared experience

Friends can drive together in convoy, with each person in their own vehicle. For a larger group or private event, discuss the format with the team first.

Is HotRodFun an adrenaline activity?

It is an outdoor driving experience with a low, open-air cockpit and direct steering. The sensation comes from the vehicle and the road around you; tours follow traffic rules and the guide’s pace.

Do we leave Bucharest for the City Tour?

The standard city tour takes place inside Bucharest and starts near Promenada Mall. Brașov and Transfăgărășan are separate experiences with their own departure locations.

Do I drive at 88 km/h?

88 km/h is the vehicle’s published top speed, not the speed promised on a tour. The convoy follows road speed limits, traffic conditions and the guide’s instructions.
