What exactly is a Wenckstern hot rod?
Wenckstern builds these handcrafted, single-seat vehicles in Germany. The 170 cc engine produces 10 kW (13.6 metric horsepower, commonly rounded to 14 HP). The published top speed is 88 km/h; tour driving follows road speed limits and the guide’s pace.
HotRodFun is an open-air driving experience on public roads in Bucharest, not karting on a closed circuit. You drive your own road-legal hot rod and follow the guide in convoy. A valid Category B driving licence is required. HotRodFun Bucharest operates the local tours; Wenckstern manufactures the vehicles.
