Make time outside part of your city break. HotRodFun is an open-air driving experience on Bucharest’s public roads: each guest drives a hot rod in a guided convoy, starting near Promenada Mall.

Plan an outdoor day around your ride

Start in the city

The meeting point is Calea Floreasca 246B in the Promenada Mall area. You do not need to travel to an adventure park outside Bucharest to take the City Tour.

Allow time to get ready

The standard city ride lasts 60 minutes. Arrive about 30 minutes early for check-in and the safety briefing, and leave room in your schedule for city traffic.

Dress for an open vehicle

Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. The hot rod has no enclosed passenger cabin. A helmet is provided for the tour.

Have a weather backup

Check the forecast and your booking instructions before leaving. Unsafe weather can change departure plans; contact the team about rescheduling and read the published weather policy.

Plan your experience

Is the whole experience outdoors?

The driving portion takes place in open-air hot rods on public roads. Check-in and briefing happen at the meeting point before the convoy leaves.

Can someone join without driving?

The hot rods have one seat each, so every participant drives and must meet the driving requirements. A non-driving friend can meet you before or after the tour.

Can I combine it with other Bucharest plans?

Yes. Allow for check-in, the 60-minute city ride and travel time to your next stop. Other plans can include a walk, a terrace break or a museum visit depending on the weather.
